Tarpon on light tackle
It's that time of the year with the smaller are up the flats. This is great fun on light tackle. In the back country if the Everglades the Snapper bites is still very good. Some nice size spotted sea trout are being released in the gulf. Key largo fishing report
With this heat wave here in the Florida keys that has gone on here in late June. The Mahi Mahi bite has gotten even hotter. Offshore charter boat from Bud N Mary's marina to Holiday Isle marina have called in large racks of the tastie fish.

Wahoo!! The boys on the offshore boats have been catching some big Wahoos.
Out in the gulf Spanish mackerels are biting great. In 10 to 12 foot of water.

Fishing report Islamorada, key largo, Florida keys
Islamorada fishing report-Skins and Fins Charters.
Flats fishing- the bonefishing is starting to pic up. The winds have been low giving fishing fishing guides some great days on the water. Snook, redfish and permit have been solid as well.
Backcountry fishing- the Spanish mackerel are turning on. Snappers, lots of small redfish, black drum and more.
Offshore/Deepsea-tjere are still some late season dolphin, tuna and some sailfish. The boys at Bud N Mary's marina have been catching daytime swardfish too.

Islamorada fishing
Islamorada fishing report
With the light winds the past 2 weeks, the flats and backcountry fishing has been very good. Redfish op to 11 LBs
on the fly has been very doable. I was lucky enought to have some much needed bow time on my son Captain Donnie Benbow's boat.
