Islamorada fishing reports

Skins and Fins Charter, Capt Ted and Donnie Benbow have been catch large Red fish off the Islamorada area in the Florida Keys. Reds up to 36" caught in about 6" of water. Site casting plastics like DOA swim baits or Millie's Buck tails tipped with shrimp. On the Fly rod the white with Chart Clouser has worked the best. Most of these Red fish are over the slot, and we choose to release them all after a quick photo of the biggest. Capt Donnie and his Anglers are really enjoying his new Maverick HPX mircro.
