Capt Mel Walker of the charter boat "Gotcha" had a great catch of Dolphin today. Capt Mel keeps his boat at the Holiday Isle Marina at the Post Card Inn Resort.

The tarpon fishing the this last week in the morning has been very good. I hope this continues the next 2 months! Big fish on live mullet has done the trick.

Bonefishing Islamorada Florida

After many years of poor bonefishing in the Florida keys. I don't want to jinx it but the bonefishing had really started to pick up! True that there are a lot of small ones but I love to see it. On the Islamorada All Tackle there were over 70 released as campaired to just a few last your. That's great news for all flats fisherman.

The water has warmed up here in the upper keys and the fishing in April has really start to get good. Today there was a great bite of Snook, big redfish, black drum, sea trout and more. With the water temp at almost 80 degrees the tarpon fishing will get even better
